Good stuff, Wayne and Toby!

You both have me thinking about coffee. I'm kind of stuck on local Cafe Ole Houston Blend (which I really like). Haven't delved into roasting my own.

A local group, the Texas Tenors, has become really popular here. We have good friends who have been to multiple concerts.

This song gets played at all their events. I played it here on the HT for our friends. They loved it.

Coffee, just needs to be fresh. That is the whole point of roasting and grinding it yerself. Course, IF you can buy it fresh roasted, grind it JUST BEFORE BREWING and use the beans within a coupla weeks you are fine. Most people buy coffee that is already old at the grocery store, already lost most of its flavor, and even already ground then the fresh flavor has left the building.
Come on over and I will let you taste. ha ha
I am FAR from a barista, still learning TONS.

BUT I am not "into" coffee as a lifestyle like some are, just drink it. God, Family and Friends, Music and movies is what I love.

Hey, Wayne, sorry, I wasn't clear enough on that last post. I played the Texas Tenor song for our friends who went to lots of their concerts, not the group itself. THAT would have been something!

I guess I gotta' taste your coffee. The good ol' Houston Blend I drink is straight out of the bag, pre ground. Maybe my taste buds need waking up.

Fresher coffee might not be that big a deal to everyone. But we can try it and see.
I suspect Toby can make it better than I can.
