That sounds good, but I hate to tell you, some of us just don't listen to that kind of music. I am not saying it is not good, just not my style, not something I have ever run across. And would not have but for you my friend.
UNLESS, Beth Hart or someone like her covered it. I LOVE Etta's "I'd Rather Go Blind", but would never have heard it if Beth had not done it recently.
I have like 4 new CDs of Beth that I have to listen to and report on. So, who knows? I might be getting to know more EJ songs!!

Fair enough, Wayne. I just figured most people have heard At Last in movies, TV shows, or commercials through the years. I don't listen to John Denver or own any of his music, but I know Take Me Home, Country Roads...

I grew up listening to a lot of old music. I was an old soul in my youth and raised by a lot of elderly family members as well. Sunday was always house cleaning day and my grandmother played oldies the entire time. We're talking everything from Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman all the way through 70s classic rock. I even received my middle name from my family's love of Bob Dylan. The only music I didn't get much exposure to was classical. So, even before movies, TV shows, and commercials, I had heard Etta...

Oh, what a sound stage! The T1s sound simply glorious on this album! The volume sounds a bit low at times but it has some very dynamic points.
