Hey Guys,
Here are some pics of the Home Theater at Wayne's house. It is finally coming together.

OK, with all these GoldenEar Speakers all around me, I can now hear that for sure the Mirage is the odd man out. It will be replaced when the SuperCenter X first comes to Thailand.
I am running the home theater on the Marantz AV7005 processor, and the Oppo 95 is the source for nearly everthing. That is a Samsung 65" plasma, sweet as.
The T2s are powered by Vincent SP-T800 mono blocks. Center by Vincent SP-T100 mono block. The T3s are powered by 2 channels bridged each on my Bel Canto eVo 6. The T7s in the rear powered by the IQ Audio M-300 mono blocks.
PLEASE don't tell me the T3s are too close to the sitting position, unless you want to come over here and help me tell the builder who is LUCKY to be alive after he made my HT too small!!!!
Still putting the T3s in that position added more bass, smoothed out the bass response in the room, made like surround sound bass.
And the T7s are being wasted most of the time back in the rear, I HOPE Hollywood will start making many more DTS MA 7.1 movies. But when they are playing it sounds great.
I still struggle to integrate the FF5 into music, I have lowered the crossover to 40 Hz so it is only playing the sub bass. It is playing better with everyone, still a couple of room issues.
The MAIN thing is, we have FUN together watching movies as a FAMILY!!!!!!

Hey Wayne, looks like everything is coming together quite nicely. I looked at the specs on your av7005, it doesn't support THX. THX Ultra2 Cinema splits the signal for the surrounds and rears. It allows you to listen to 5.1 as 7.1...maybe a new processor is in order.

Hey Wayne: I've been running THX Ultra for 5-10 years now. If set up properly it can sound amazing. I'm using the Aon 3's as surrounds and the supersat 3's for rears. The question is, if I had to buy a new processor today would it have to have THX capability... short answer... NO...but it's nice to have.

How do you have the Oppo95 connected to the A/V?
Analog for Oppo processing or HDMI for the Marantz to do the decoding?
