You have a right to gloat.
The Falcons have come a long way, BUT did you see the faces, the demeanor of the Pats on the sidelines when they got way behind early? Like, 'not a problem'. Did you see the faces of the Falcons on the sidelines near the end of regulation when the Pats came back to tie the game? Disbelief and 'game over for us'. Even Ryan and their coach. Before the coin toss!!!
Sorry to say but the Falcons may have been so happy just to have made it to the SB, but when the Pats qualified, all Edelman could say was "One More", they even already had a banner made up, One MORE. Mentality wins games.
And thanks for saying something nice about the Texans, but I know when smoke is being blown up my butt!!!! So far they have been happy to just win their division and make the playoffs.

If Houston can ever find themselves a quarterback, and J.J. Watt (the best defensive end in football) comes back healthy next year, who knows? Virtually no one had predicted Atlanta to have a shot at being in the Super Bowl at the beginning of this last season. Just sayin'.. :cheer:

As much as politics and religion are off base here, seems like football opinions are OK ... they are with me anyway. Let me know if anyone (like a Falcons fan, or Patriots hater) was offended and I'll reconsider.

Moderator Dude, I'm OK with however it gets decided. I kind of like "football light", where we can rib each other some, support each other some, compare notes on what we saw, as long as it remains civil, and no one feels offended by the comments. First priority is that the forum is a safe place to visit and comment. Your call. Personally, I get a kick out of the good natured ribbing among friends. At least that's how it feels to me. :)
