Ha! Here are my cable elevators, made out of 5 in tall hot drink cups I bought from Amazon for next to nothing. Painted them to reduce the visual blight. Small notches keep the cable from sliding off the top. They work great. And they're cheaper than sneakers. Visitors have commented, not necessarily favorably. :cheer:
