I want to thank you for the helpful information that I've learned in the forum. I was doing a lot of research into my new AVR and made the jump this week into the Anthem MRX 720. I'm using it initially for two channel only but plan to use also for home theater purposes.

I have Triton Ones (yea!) and last evening I completed my first ARC round. Prior to the configuration I set the maximum correction level at 500 hz as advised by our Moderator and set the T1's base level at 9 o'clock. Unfortunately I have a killer room situation with the only option for me to have my left speaker right next to soft furniture and backing up to a corner. I think that comes out in the measurements (attached). I'm far from savvy reading these (not exactly sure what the four Configs are actually about) so is there some commentary, and advice that you can offer?

FYI in general, I love the sound of the MRX720, great soundstage, lots of detail and its not even broken in yet!

Congrats on the T1s and the Anthem! Great choices so far. You're well on your way to a premium home theater.

ARC works extremely well from my experience. I haven't been able to open your files but will try to relay my experience. Based on your description, I would expect you to have som bass issues. Are you just using the speaker level inputs? Based on your positioning issues, you may want to play some test tones in the left and right speaker separately to figure out where your gain knobs should be set. The subs that are in the corner will likely be a bit stronger and may need to be turned down.

Once you get the subs somewhat close in output, your calibration should be a bit easier. When you run the measurements, you'll get a red and blue response curve. After calculating, you should get some green lines that show you how close ARC will be able to correct your room issues. If your green lines match the black target curves, you should be in good shape. Is this what is happening on your .zip file?

You may want to hit up your local GET dealer. If they're anything like mine, they should be able to give your some advice. If not, they may be able to refer you to someone in the area. Some diffusion or absorption may be beneficial if you stuck in a corner. ARC did a really good job cleaning up my bass, but I've had some nulls that it could not completely resolve with my preferred positioning for stereo music. I found my bass pretty muddy if I positioned my speakers too far into the corners. Acoustics are a tricky and illusive animal. Best to enlist the help of a seasoned pro. If we have any experts here, they would probably benefit from some pics in addition to your response curves.

T Cobe, thank you for the advice. I am uploading a new graph here and will provide a photo in the near future. I decided to fill part of the gaping box of a corner with a solid end table. Not sure if that's helping or hurting but I reran ARC (after needing to replace the cable due to unrecognized mic issues). Here is the new graph in jpeg for your consideration.

My first recommendation is to adjust your frequency response for your T1s in ARC to full range and no crossover frequency. That should change things a bit. I can't tell if you have a null or if ARC is trying to level your bass on the left speaker. The right speaker looks like it would be pretty good if you switch to flat. If ARC can't correct your left speaker response, you probably have some sort of comb filtering/cancellation going on. Looks like correcting below 500 Hz should be sufficient.
