Hi, I was looking to see what would be best for 2 ceiling speakers for Dolby atmos in my setup.

I have triton 2's for front and 3's for surround and 7's for rear and XL as center

I was thinking of 650 but is it worth extra money which I rather not spend for the 7000?
Please give me some advice. Thank you.

What is your ceiling height?

Thanks, Amit! This is a great question. Height speakers will be my next upgrade and my ceiling height is just under 8 ft as well. I have been leaning towards the HTR 7000s, but it would be good to hear the expert recommendation based on room height.

Cheers,

T Cobe

We have found for ceilings under 10ft that a direct-overhead speaker is not the best solution and recommend the HTR 7000 if the room layout allows. Although not pretty (someone is working on that I'm sure), there's a lot of Atmos system design information on our website here: www.goldenear.com/support/atmos-systems
