I have recently purchased the Triton Two's, Supersat 3 (4 of them), and your SuperCenter XL to replace my old system. I have a Onkyo txnr 1007 AV Receiver and am trying to set the speaker size correctly for all. This receiver does not indicate large or small for speaker size. It does however, allow me to enter crossover frequencies for all. I have the lfe signals going into the towers but would like help in selecting the recommended frequencies for the towers, center, and surrounds. Can you Help?

Hi Ted, thanks for the purchase! I am not 100% familiar with the Onkyo menus so maybe somebody else will chime in, but I believe you want to do the following for your bass management settings (make sure Audyssey has been defeated if you used that on your old speaker system, run a factory reset if necessary to clear all old settings first):

1) Set Subwoofer to NO, or NONE
2) Set Triton Two to FULL BAND (No Crossover)
3) Set SuperCenter XL to 80 HZ Crossover
4) Set Surrounds and Rears (SuperSat 3's) to 120 Hz Crossover
(If your Onkyo only allows for a single crossover setting for all non-full band channels, set it at 100 Hz.)

Hope this helps. Have fun!

Thank you for the quick response. I also have a jL audio fathom sub that needs to be connected. The receiver has 2 sub ins so I assume I need to split one and have both tritons on it? Also you mentioned to say no to subwoofer? Thanks for your help.

You did not mention that in your post.

1) No, do not hook up the Tritons to the sub out of your receiver;
2) Set sub to Yes, no other changes;

This will send LFE only to the sub and not to the Tritons. There are other hookup options and considerations, to involved to discuss in a forum post, but this would be the recommended setup.
