If you are going to spend 500 on a sub, why not include the ForceField 3 in your possible choices? From my experience it is certainly one of the best performing in that price range.

I just ordered one of SVS' new PB-2000 subs. It's getting stellar reviews and it seems like more sub for my 6,000 cubic foot listening area. The GoldenEar equivalent would have been the ForceField 5, which would have been at least $300 more...
