Glad to hear you finally got a decent demo. Thanks for the additional feedback too, With the right setup and equipment the Tritons are simply breath taking.

Wayne,

I bought my system from A&L in Sungei Wang, they do have a lot of different showrooms of different quality scattered throughout KL.
By and large good people, but as you've noticed perhaps not the most technical of salespeople, but that's probably also due to them being more Cantonese speaking than English.

Glad to hear you're going to be picking up a system in Thailand! Enjoy :)

Yes, pltan75,
I found out A&L Audio in K. L. had a lot more going on than I first thought. I find it hard to get around in K. L. without getting ripped off by the taxi drivers, so I have only been to their Sungei Wang location.
I am always thankful when sales people at a shop like theirs will take the time and trouble to give a proper demo of their equipment. And, since I do not yet have a dealer in Thailand, I wanted to find a way to buy from them and carry the speakers back home. But it is soooo expensive for shipping, I guess I will be forced to wait until the distributor is up and running in Thailand. The good news is, there will be one when they get govt. approval to import.
Thanks for your feedback and enjoy music with your system, all the best!

Wayne,

I don't know how long it'll take for the Thai dealership to get setup, but A&L has some partners in Penang, might be worth a weekend drive if you have a SUV?

Hi pltan75.
Thanks for thinking of me, and that is an idea that might work. I don't have an SUV, but the biggest problem I can see is with the Thai customs. I would have to pay through the nose to them, perhaps several times on a cross country trip like that. But the distributor here in Thailand is working at getting certified to carry GE speakers, it just takes time. Meanwhile, I am in the process of building a house to have a home theater to put them in, so I am not really in a hurry. Just impatient.
But thanks for the suggestion. All the best listening!!!!

I've been playing my Triton Ones all weekend. I have to say….HUGE gulp…..my Klipschorns sounded much, much better. I'm hoping after some time they break in and improve. Stay tuned. To be honest, I think my Triton Two's sounded better than these….if that's possible. :woohoo:
