Hello Team,

I have got my T3+'s finally after selling my old gear and have run them for a good 4 hours and they do sound fantastic. I know eventually I will add a Forcefield 5 sub or something similar to add some more bass but the quality is really good out of these speakers.

I have an odd shaped room and I sit quiet far back. I have placed the speakers about 22cm (8inch) away from the rear wall and they are towed in at the listening position and sit about 30cm's away from the side walls.

Any other tips?

There's no substitute for playing around some with placement and just listening to how they sound. Each room is different. Maybe a couple things worth trying to see what happens: experiment with moving the speakers out a little further from the rear wall to minimize bass interactions, and perhaps try a little more toe in, play with toe in angles (I know you said they are toed at the far back listening positioning, but even subtle changes in toe in can really change the sound field at the listening position... ).

- Play more with toe-in and hear imaging ,
- Base traps for the corners might help alot ,
- Adjust the base controller at the back of the speakers after base tarps .

Don't forget the spikes. I use 2.10" on the rears & 1.50" on the fronts. Good tilt seems to be the key.

Everybody has already given you good advice above, experiment and enjoy.
You said you sit quite far back, WHY??????
Are your parents around saying "Don't sit so close to the TV!!!!"?
Move up if you can and the TV will fill your vision MUCH better and the sound (after you toe in the speakers some more) will probably be better too.
Most people with TVs less than 100 inches, (as in most of us), sit too far back, I moved up and it changed everything!!!! A MUCH more immersive experience watching movies.

Good point though its more for aesthetics in the room I guess.

On the flip side I double the distance from the back wall and man these sound like magic now. I wil keep playing around abit once I go pickup my bass traps tomorrow .
