Hey everyone, thanks for any advice in advance. I’m new to the home theater realm. I’m finally at a point in my life where I can start building a real home theater system. Currently with a LG OLED and a cheap sound bar. I will be buying my first house in the spring and was wondering if anyone had things to make sure I check (specific electrical I should have as minimum?). I’ve read about room sizes and ratios so that will be in my Mind when buying a house. Regarding systems, I’m thinking 5.1.2. I was wondering thoughts on Triton 3+ mains, SuperCenter XL center speaker, invisa MPX surrounds, invisa 650 ceiling speakers for atmos, forcefield 3 sub. Am I putting the money where I should? Or should I allocate differently? Also any specific receivers recommended for golden ear products? Lastly what resources would you recommend so I can learn the essentials. Thank you guys!

The system you've described should be great but I will offer my strongest recommendation to step up to the SuperSub X instead of a ForceField model if you can do it. The SuperSubs are exceptional and the little SuperSub X outperforms even the large ForceField 5.

I agree with the moderator. The only thing else I would recommend would be to use 4 atmos height speakers. I would say it would be the equivalent of going from a 3.1 system to a 5.1 system. I would give a lot more 3D feeling to the sound.

thanks Sam! well it depends on what I need. I don't need to overspend. But I am looking for dolby atmos. will need to accommodate up to 7.2.4 but I will be starting with a 5.1.4 most likely. I also will be hooking up my xbox, apple tv 4k, maybe a 4k blue ray player, harmony remote. I am thinking 1000-1500 should be plenty? any suggestions are very much appreciated.
