Hey, Anthem
Streaming Govi right now. Thanks!
Winter weather has shut down South Central Texas and other parts of the South for now.Tree branches down everywhere from freezing rain, with snow to follow. Roads closed, local counties and state declaring emergencies, a deep freeze for tonight and tomorrow.
Looking out at snow falling and listening to Govi... Thought I had moved away from this when we moved to TX for winters.
Keeping warm and enjoying music...
Rick

Rick Braun/Can You Feel It (2014) - Dr. Funkenstein
Rick: You Alright? Looks like Texas is getting hammered with power outages, cold, freezing rain, and snow.
No work today. It's just to cold here. As i can imagine, everyone is getting sick and tired of this cold weather. Monday it is supposed to be in the 50's. Looking forward!

Hey Anthem
Thanks for asking, yes the weather is causing a lot of problems here in Texas. Haven't been out of the house in days, roads have been impassable sometimes, with toll roads shut down, towns closing roads also. No snow or ice clearing equipment here for state or towns. But Judy and I are doing OK.
With power outages and restarts unpredictable, and outages lasting up to 6 hours, my HT and Tritons have been unplugged for days also, don't want to risk a power surge on a power restart damaging anything, had that happen before, blowing internet card on a receiver. So all listening on headphones for now. And house temp's have dropped to 58-60 degrees at times until power and heat come back on. And to think we moved to Texas for winters to avoid bad weather!!!
So happy to have music, even by headphones, which I can play from an iphone even when power is out, thanks to backup batteries.
Can't wait to plug in and crank the GEt's.

Nursing a Seattle's Best coffee. Personally, this stuff is hard to drink! It tastes as bad as it smells.

Things are settling down here in Texas, power came back on full time yesterday, though some areas still struggling to get water supply up and running.
All good here, fired up the HT and GEt's when full time power came back yesterday. Missed that! Cranked some movie stuff last night, lots of music today. Lovin' it, missed it!
And kudos to Audioquest, new parent of GoldenEar. My Dragonfly Cobalt DAC developed an issue with the output jack where the headphones sound would cut in and out. Contacted Audioquest, with my Cobalt past the one year warranty, to ask about fixes I could try since I had tried cleaning contacts several times and was wondering what else to try. No questions asked, they said send it back and we'll replace it, which they did. Just got the replacement back today due to storm related mail delays, and it is perfect. That little rascal plays with the big boys, makes music come alive, makes my headphones sound amazing.
I think the Audioquest/GoldenEar partnership is a pairing of like minds, dedicated to quality and supporting their products. I'm impressed. Still wondering about the Audioquest cable line, reading great things about their power cords for instance. Anybody tried them?
A happy Audioquest customer.

75 degrees here in California today! That's why I moved from New York.
Loved the track Tricycle by Flim & the BB's. You weren't kidding about the dynamic range! I ran to turn it down.
