Kombo/The Big Blast (1999) -- Green Onions

Have you heard? The T Refs do bass quite well! I know, I know...shocker isn't it.

Wednesday i ordered a pair of 1959 Raytheon 12au7 blackplates - Baldwin branded tubes from Cunuck Audio Mart in Canada. They've been shipped and should be here next week. Users are reporting wonderful detail with these tubes...should be fun.

South Florida Jazz Orchestra/Trumpet Summit (2012) -- Blues for the Terrible Two's

In times past the Wife use to vent her dissatisfaction of this particular style of music. As of lately, I do believe it's growing on her.

Been a while...
Some recent discoveries:
Overcoats - female duo, great voices, interesting lyrics:

Shakey Graves - acoustic blues guitar from texas:

Goon Sax - interesting pop-ish / alt music (with some horns)
Shopping - talking heads-ish - can't stop listening!

Thunderpussy - all woman led-zep like hard rock!

Might have mentioned it before - new album from Cowboy junkies is excellent.
Boz Scaggs recent albums are very nice, bluesy affairs (didn't care for much of his other stuff)
and Maceo parker has some serious good funk:

Hope you like, thanks for all the great recommendations here...

Thanks :-).

Try Boz "Out of the Blues" - much better than his smooth pop stuff!
