Wayne, really?

While I do agree Rick is rather diplomatic in his response, I didn't get the impression he was conveying anyone is wrong.

Perhaps Rick's last paragraph is worth repeating, just in case there are those who may have glossed over it or otherwise misunderstood it.

All I can say is that I enjoy music more after at least 30 minutes of system warm-up. For anyone who likes their sound just as much "out of the gate", that's good, too. So many great systems represented on this forum, each unique, so many listening preferences. WHATEVER WORKS FOR EACH OF US!!!

Sorry GDHAL, I just want to disagree with you in a good humored and friendly way.
Neither of us will be able to prove our position.
So happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

I'm in the warm it up Bandcamp. I've always felt that from a cold start saxophones and trumpets can sound a bit harsh, mid and treble as Rick stated. With 15 to 30 minutes of warm-up time that harshness seems to dissipate. The wife pays the electric bill, so I don't leave anything on overnight.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!
