More on the Triton Ones guys,
I just got an email from a guy over here in Thailand, and I will not tell his whole story, but will let him do so if he wishes.
He contacted me about how to buy GE speakers here. The distributor or dealer (not sure whom) gave him an in-home demonstration. He ask them to set up the Triton 2s and IF they played better than his current speakers, he would get rid of his old speakers and audition the Triton Ones as well, make a choice then.
They set up the T2s and he got rid of his old speakers immediately after hearing the GE speakers. He was sold. BUT he wanted to hear the Ones, so when he heard them, he bought them and had them take away the T2s. He wrote that the 2s were really good, but the real magic is with the Ones.
Said is modest system now is right up there with the REALLY high priced systems now, just by adding the Ones.
Told me I MUST listen to the Ones.
OUCH.
I just got a SC X to audition when I get it back home.
My reports to follow, sadly they will not be about the Ones.
