I had the same issue with one of my T2's, after a year or so. My fix was to pop off the top cover, slide the fabric sleeve all the way to the bottom. I noticed the panel on the passive radiator seemed to be the cause of the rattle, so I carefully tightened the bolt on the panel. After this seemed to fix it, I ran the 'fix' by GTE tech support and they confirmed that was the right thing to do. I asked about using Loctite, and they said it shouldn't be necessary. This was probably 2 or 3 years ago, and the rattle has never come back.
