So I am building a new system and purchased a Supercenter XXL to go with my TRefs. Just got the surrounds and heights installed and was about to unbox the SC XXL. And it hit me, perhaps I should sell this and trade up to the SC Reference.

Is this worth it? I know the SC XXL is Awesome but is the reference worth the upgrade?

Of course you'd expect GoldenEar to say yes, but the SC Ref really is a superior sounding model and its voicing is even closer to T Refs and T1.R than even the excellent SC XXL is.

Yes, from what I have read I agree. I think I have the XXL sold and will be ordering a SuperCenter Ref.
