Here are some images of the layout. With the second shot I tried to change the angle to get the Invisa speakers included as well.

As you can see, the room isn't very big (couch is maybe 9 feet from the TV) and the SC3DXL blends in nicely. It looks like a low key system that blends in nicely with the decor, but throw an action movie in there and it definitely hits hard. That's a 55 inch TV as a size reference. Not sure if it is the wall, but I previously had the SC3DXL on the front of an entertainment center (maybe 20 inches from the wall) and it sounded a little more hollow. Placed right next to the wall where it is right now the sound is much richer.

Looks absolutely gorgeous! The combination of black, white, and blue is very stylish.

Not having compared both myself, what made you choose the SC3DXL over the SC3DX?

They sound similar, but the extra width helps the XL achieve the illusion of an even wider sound stage.

Also, we plan on getting bigger TV at some point and it will match better :P

The 3D Array XL also handles about twice as much power in a multi-channel playback environment, better in larger rooms to achieve theater-like volumes.
