I am looking into purchasing one of the two soundbars but I need advice on which one to pick. My living room is 19 feet wide, 29ft long, and 8ft high. I do have a 75 inch TV, so both bars will fit nicely. However, I do live in a condo so I can't play music/movies crazy loud. I was wandering if even at moderate volume levels there is difference in soundstage between the two given my room dimensions. The other question I have is what is the optimal placement for the bar, bellow or above my 75 inch TV.

Either will be fine. We would expect the XL to look better with the larger TV (which is the intention, along with the bigger TV=bigger room=more output required thinking), but not an issue for you if high volume levels aren't planned. That said, that is a very large room and we would strongly suggest the XL and two powered subs. Placement of the 3D Array above or below is fine, many prefer above (angled down), since below (angled up) can often be blocked by furniture and/or people.
