No. In fact, the BRX will match better since it has the newer Reference level parts like your T-Ref and SC-Ref have.

We hope to begin shipping the first BRX in late March.

I'm a fan of the Triton 7 and 5 along with use of AONs. All these years, we got all the Goldenear goodness and words to qualify the shape of the speakers (as very pronounced in the AON) that was to help with the sound. These BRX speakers seem to have a more traditional shape. Curious as to why the change in design here? As well I know they are often talked about with respect to the Triton but any review that contrasts and compares them to the AON line up? Last, any reviews of the wireless series that we may be see links to please. Thanks much for any help here. I'll be curious if one day we'll see some tinkering to get the active speakers + dragonfly or similar DAC + small music player (phone etc.) in combo and reviewed.

MichaelM,

The BRX does have a slightly tapered shape from back to front but the overall styling appears a little more conventional while still having non-parallel sides. I think you'll find it more elegant when you see a real one (not just images). It is an elegant looking and a wonderful sounding speaker and a sizable sonic upgrade from the Aons.

The active version, DigitalAktiv 3 is mired in an ever evolving design for its connectability and is way behind schedule. We now estimate sometime in 2021.

Thank you for sharing the unboxing video, it came out fantastic! Glad you are enjoying the speakers and I have shared in house with everyone as well. Sandy loved it! This will certainly be shared on our social media as well.

Thank you again, stay safe and listen to music!
