I did a search and am surprised the topic has not come up.

What is the best way to clean a Triton tower sock without removing it?

I have two 10 year old Tritons that are a bit dusty.

Thanks

Hi tlueders, a lint roller normally does a good job of removing light dirt and dust from the grille "socks" used on the Triton towers.

If needed, you could also try using a damp cloth to wipe the grille socks. (It would also be safe to use a low powered, hand vacuum on the grille socks.)

The grille socks are also removable. Once the grille socks are removed, you could try hand washing them….If needed, replacement grille socks for most of the Triton towers are available as replacement parts. Happy Listening!

I agreed with the mod, the lint roller works well on my Triton 5's

To me, "cleaning" shouldn't mean anything more than "dusting". To that end, I've always uses a vacuum with a fabric attachment on both my T1s and my TRefs. If by cleaning you mean stain removal of something other than dusting, you would have to resort to techniques that the moderator suggested.
