If I replace the HVFR tweeter on my Supercenter XXL with a HVFR reference tweeter am I basically getting a Supercenter Reference?

Hi, Samwise

No, replacing just the HVFR in an XXL does not upgrade it to a SC Ref. Reference technology is used throughout. The SC Ref also has upgraded focus field bass and mid/bass drivers, probably upgraded wiring, and perhaps other upgrades to crossovers, etc.

The increase in clarity is across the frequency range, and bass prowess and power handling are definitely all a step up.
