I just picked up XL to go with Triton 5's.

I have two large subs so I've been running everything including tritons at 80hz crossover. What is the recommended crossover for this XL? What do you think would sound best?

Also, does anyone know if the radiators even do anything for bass over 80hz?

We suggest 80 Hz as a starting point. Depending on many factors (room size, desired playing levels, available power, speaker location), that might be perfect, or you might prefer 60Hz or even 40Hz.

The passive radiators begin to produce energy below 100Hz, most of their output is below 60Hz. The passives, even with a higher crossover point, give the speaker substantially more dynamic range at frequencies below 100 Hz.

I settled on 70 Hz to give me the best balance between vocals and dynamics. This of course works best to my ear, with my equipment, and in my room. Good luck and enjoy the tuning!
