I just purchased a XL and a forcefield 3 sub. I have no surround speakers at this point in time. I'm driving them with a Denon X1200W. I could use some help on how I should set up the receiver. When I'm watch Dish or my Media player/Kodi what should I set the soundfield for? Receivers have always confused me with the 100's of settings. I set the speakers up using distance but all the different soundfield stuff confuses me.

Also can you recommend a good mounting bracket for below the TV?

Thanks

Hi Str1der and welcome to the forum. You have made some very good purchases.
What are you using for your main left and right speakers?
Do you listen mostly to music, or are you setting up a home theater for surround sound movies?
I don't know that receiver, so will let others that do know answer your questions better,
but with GoldenEar speakers, you will get a great sound.
God Bless,
Wayne

Don't have left or rights per say. Just the XL soundbar and the sub.

Ask the dealer who sold you the soundbar and receiver for help. No "soundfield" setting, turn that stuff all off. And all the other audio processing stuff. Go through the basic setup (identify channels used, speaker types, crossovers, distances and levels) and your sources should default to the correct decoding. If confused, read the manual or ask for local help.

Is the TV wall mounted? If so, just use a universal sound bar mount and attach it to the wall mount.
