Just wanted to confirm that being the best strategy form my desk listening environment. that would place them considerably wider than my distance from the wall. My distance to the wall being about 4 feet, but max distance between speakers would place them about 12.

It is tough to "mock up" the install so just looking for the best starting point for my setup. Sub is under my desk and will be dead center to both speakers.

Anything over the 4' distance away is just gravy in terms of soundstage size and good listening spots. Since you're all by yourself in your desk environment, not much need for the latter. I'd suggest maintaining a good distance from the side walls is important here too, so mounted 4' or more and not so wide as to be too close to the side walls.

Sorry, no experience. HDMI is the devil's connection anyway, can't imagine how wireless could make it any better.

Thanks, Moderator Dude. I'm sure the change to 2.0 will fix the many HDMI issues. Wait, maybe 2.0a... Nevermind, better to just buckle up for the ride!

Cheers,
