Just got my new FF5 sub.

What is the break in procedure on this sub? I know break in made a difference on my Triton 2's and Aon 3's.

What X-over on the sub would you recommend with Aon 3"s?

I have all the power I need in a medium size room-music only system! I sit in one fixed sweet spot. Sub in front with mains.
Would there be any benefit in getting a second FF5?

Also does GE recommend using a Y splitter to both inputs?

Thanks-Many questions???
So much music-so little time!

Sorry, missed this (surprisingly there have been over 30 views and no comments - c'mon gang!). I moved it to a new more visible category, perhaps that will help get some user replies.

In answer to your questions:

1) Break-in just by use (some good exercise, not low volume, small bass stuff), crank up some thumping stuff. Takes about 50 hours, main difference is it will get louder (you'll need to continually adjust it down during the 50 hours to maintain balance);

2) Depends on what you want - max volume in a home theater, I'd say use the typical 80Hz. Highest fidelity for music playback - I'd say maybe 40-60Hz.

3) Both inputs? Sub only has one line level input, not sure what your asking.

Hope you are enjoying your new sub, sorry for the delayed reply.
