I’m buying a GoldenEar Triton Two Plus speakers and I have a Marantz SR 6013 AVR. I’m also planning to add a power amplifier. To run the subs of the speakers, should I use the LFE connections of the speakers and AVR and use the speaker’s main channel connections to connect the speakers to the amplifier? Thank you.

Hello,

I think I read this correctly: You want to use a power amp from your AVR's front main preamp outputs to the speaker level inputs on Triton Two Plus, and use the LFE out from the AVR to the speakers' LFE inputs.

That should work fine, assuming you set the main speakers to "large" or full range, and set LFE to yes.
