I'm pretty sure I have the right space to set it up so the geometry will work (10 foot ceilings, 16 feet to couch).

If you've seen this work I'm almost 100% positive I'm going with this setup.

Very exciting to be able to do something a little unconventional but still have it sound amazing. Once I get it installed I'll let people know how it worked!

It sounds like you're heading for a fabulous system!

Happy listening, and please let us know when it's all in place!

Hey Thinkthis,
Indeed it sounds like it will work. I am glad that Moderator Dude confirmed that it would, so now you know.
But I really like what Rick said:
" That's the beauty of all this.... we each get to choose what works and sounds best for our individual tastes/budgets/listening preferences/room conditions/spousal requirements, etc. etc."
Well said Rick!!!!!
I picked up on one thing, and it might or might not help, just trying to help here. You mention your distances with 16 ft to your couch. That should mean that your screen is big enough for IMAX. I just find that sitting much closer than that for most TV/screen sizes will give you a much better and more immersive viewing experience and it will sound better too. You can get seating charts for the size of your screen, but normally you want to sit where the screen fills your sight pattern with not much distraction to either left or right side.
That is hard to do in most rooms, mine included (where is that 150 inch screen and projector I asked for Christmas????).
Just a thought, hope this helps.
Please report back and let us know how you get on.
Have fun putting together a great system,
God Bless, Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Hi- I am thinking of the same setup. How do you like the in ceiling 7000s as left and right with the super center? Is your super center in a cabinet?

Thanks for the update!
