Good morning. I own a pair of Triton 2 and on occasion due to seating arrangements need to move the speakers against the wall. I know, bad me, but the powers that be insist everyone in the room be able to see all the tv screen unhindered by protruding speakers.
Since the speakers are heavy, I’d rather not lift and move them. Instead I’d like to slide them. Any ideas ?

Hi Bret,

GDHAL's link points at some gliders. Those would probably work fine on carpet, but if you have a hardwood or laminate floor and are worried about scratching it, you can add some thin, self-adhesive felt pads to the underside of the slider. I did this when I was using the spikes and disks that came with my TRefs. I put the felt pads on the bottom of the disks and was able to VERY CAREFULLY lift upward and slide the speakers. (I did not lift the speakers off the floor.) Those disks were pretty small, so that was tricky. The gliders look larger, which should make that easier.

You can find packages of felt pads of varying sizes at Amazon.

I'm using Herbie's Audio Lab cone/spike Decoupling glider under a pair of 804 Nautilus 804's. Problem is, if you go to move them they get caught in the depressions made by the weight of the speaker.

If I had to do all over again, I'd buy the Threaded Stud Glider.

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Instead of moving the speakers, how about moving your TV 'outwards'?
Haven't seen the room , nor do we know how 'the powers that be' would respond but:
NAD M33 - Rega P6/Ortofon Quintet Bronze - Oppo BDP 105 - GoldenEar Triton One - Gaia II iso feet - IsoTek EVO 3 power cords and power boards - some wire...
