Ah yes, the slippery slope of incremental upgrades. I know it well...:woohoo:

Ha! Been there a couple times myself.

Seriously, if you do decide to upgrade to the 1.R’s I‘ll bet you will be amazed at the clarity, bass, dynamics, goosebump moments, finesse all around. T2’s are magical and Sandy’s first top of the line, affordable speaker at GoldenEar. The 1.R’s and Ref’s just take the magic to a whole new level.

Plenty of time to enjoy the magic you already have, and think about that incremental upgrade path we’re all tempted by now and then.

Happy listening to real piano or whatever you play!

T2 is great speaker no doubt about it, but I think it's lacking the next level clarity I'm looking for, I am intent to enjoy to the fullest, and next step up search is on.

How do you like your Micromega m100 ?
I have a month old Triton 2+ and looking for integrated amp. I am currently using Arcam sr250 but want to improve overall sound quality. On my radar is Anthem STR, Micromega m100, Lyngdorf 2170 or Prima Luna evo300

I have done extensive comparison between M100 and 2170 while back (local distributor happens to carry both brand), I prefer M100's silky smooth sound over 2170, but 2170 does got a lot of offer with option and room correction. And I do get a little fatigue with 2170, not sure has to do with the D class. Currently I'm playing between Triton 2 and Martin Logan ESL, ESL sometimes can drop to 1ohm and M100 never broke a sweat. However, as much I want to recommend M100, additional MARS room correction kit is kinda expensive and furthermore, after sale support nonexistent. My network card doesn't work, emailed them many times including messages on their FB page, no response from them what so ever. Took M100 to distributor and verified network card is not functional, they too can't get Micromega to respond. While M100 is not terribly expensive, still for the asking price you would've think after sale support would be top notch. Micromega can really learn a thing or two from GE about after sales support.

I really like M100 despite the shortcoming and don't see any reason to upgrade just yet. If I'm in the market again, Prima Luna and possible Mcinosh MA252 would be my consideration.
