Hi, I was wondering is a spurious sound normal from the Triton Twos. Whenever I play a CD, DVD or Blu Ray a sound comes from both speakers. This sound happens on powering on and also when powering off.
The sound is kind of like crinkling wrapping paper. It is not a natural sound. Totally electronic.
My old Mirage OM6s were dead quiet until they were triggered by the sound track. On turn off the same dead quiet. I find it very disconcerting hearing this sound from the Triton Twos.
Any ideas is something wrong or is this normal? Help????

No, they should not make any noise. Do they do this with the speaker wires from your receiver/amplifier disconnected?
