How much power do the subs consume on the Triton Two towers when they are idle (waiting for a signal)?

Is it OK to leave the subs plugged in for days/months if they are not in use?

Finally, my local dealer says he has a back log of orders that he thinks will be filled some time next month. Has GoldenEar increased production of the Triton Two significantly to meet the demand? Or can we expect back orders for a while to come?

Thanks.

Once the amplifier turns off (power light goes out) the Triton Two will consume less than two watts during this standby mode. If not in use for weeks (or months) it would be prudent (and green :) ) to unplug them, but not necessary.

Your dealer is correct, based on significantly more demand than anticipated we are suffering fairly long waiting lists at this time. We have quadrupled production and hopeful we will be caught up on Triton Two orders by sometime in June. Needless to say, the sooner you "get on the list" and place an order with your dealer, the sooner you will get your pair of Tritons.
