hello and cheers from greece to everybody!
i am an owner of the triton one speakers and i am very pleased of them.i have some questions and i would appreciate for everyone who like to send me his-her opinion about them.

first of all i'd like to say that the main reason which mede me to write and ask,is that for many years now i have a problem with my ears and i'm think of having an upgrade.in fact i have an chronic otitis, and it affects me especially to the high frequencies.but after all i need some opinions also.

the first question is about the speaker cables.what about the original cables which are in the box when we bue the triton speakers?i know that they are good quality but how about to change-upgrade them with something else and better?
if yes, which cables do you thing i could use and why?have anybody in here heared with his own ears some cable which made a clear difference?
if eventually i will bye new cables,i will need a pair of those of course, one for every speaker, and my budget for this is around 1000 euros.i would really appreciate any friend from inside here if he has any kind of knowledge in this.

the second question has to do with the phono stage.i am really a big fan of playing vinyls.i would like to write my full sound set to help you,so that you could help me....

amplifier: hegel g360
plattern: michell gyrodec sa
plattern arm: michell technoarm a
phono stage: arcam rphono
cartridge: denon dl110
speakers: goldenear triton one

the arcam phono stage which i am using now is pretty ok,but i believe that i can get much more from a better one.
my budget for this is arround 2000 euros...

i woud like to thank in advance everybody, and it would be pretty perfect if some of the goldenear moderates helped me with his-hers opinion about all these also!

Hi dimitrios fakitsas, First, upgrading the AC power cables that are supplied with the Triton Ones would produce a noticeable improvement in the detail and clarity of the bass produced by these towers. The AudioQuest NRG-X3 and NRG-Y3 power cables would be a nice upgrade over the standard power cords supplied with these towers. Next, using quality speaker cables would also produce a noticeable improvement in the detail, imaging, and clarity throughout the entire musical spectrum. The AudioQuest Rocket 33 speaker cables would be a good choice and a good value.

Last, there are may fine phono stages on the market - and one of the better values on the market today would be the Parasound JC3 Jr phono pre-amp. It's received great reviews and it would work well with your existing equipment. Happy Listening!

dear moderate thank you very much for your time and tour answer!i really appreciate it!
i will check those cables you mentioned, after all, all i need to know was that i would get a better result with an upgrade.

now as about that parasound phono which you mentioned, unfortunatelly that was my choice also!i'm saying unfortunatelly because i found it in a very good price, almost in mint condition here in athens, but i lost it for one and a half day!
you know in europe it's not so easy to find everyday ggod machines in very good conditions especially for machines which come from the us or another continent.....so i must check for something else.if i was in the us for example it would be a piece of cake for that parasound....anyway,thanks again, and if you or somebody else think of something i would be glad to hear it!
cheers from greece

Different schools of camp here. I cannot and will not comment on phono stages as I gave up analog (LP records in particular, held onto cassette tapes much longer) so long ago I don't even remember when I literally got rid of the whole kit and caboodle. Never looked backed.

On to cables you've got folks that will tell you that cables make a world of difference. In fact people are so adamant about cables they'll even tell you that the direction of said cable makes a huge difference as well. These can be power cables and/or interconnect cables. My personal **opinion** is that esoteric cables are nothing more than snake oil. There are scores of YouTube video with tests regarding cables and there is no audible difference. In fact in many cases there's barely any measurable difference.

Do whatever you will but my advice is to save your money. The power cords that comes stock with the Triton reference or any of the Triton line are more than ample. If you do supposedly "upgrade", do yourself a favor and try to discern a difference under a proper blind test.

thank you very much for your time my friend.
i already watched a lot of you tube videos about cables.that was always a question all of us had.if the cables make difference.so i wrote that question because i don't have a lot of experience about cables.
having used two or three different interconnect cables my opinion is that there is a difference but not in the percentage of market prices especially for the average price cables and above. there I think there is a big exaggeration.

Since I almost finished with a complete upgrade to my audio system, I decided to look for better cables even to get this difference that I think exists.but without overdoing it with very expensive cables that may not be worth the money.

Even though I posted herein this thread somewhat to the contrary, I have a friend in my audio club who gave me a deal on a spdif digital interconnect I figured I'd give it a try. He uses a dielectric jacket which many cables do not have, Check out triodewirelabs.com/
