Hi Everybody,

I just ordered a DSPeaker Anti-Mode X4 from Underwood Hi Fi. I'm finally going to attack the room modes that I have. I plan to use it as a DAC/Pre with digital signal processing, and it will be a direct replacement for my Auralic Vega DAC/Pre (original version). I have good faith in the digital signal processing in the X4 (there are some good reviews), but what worries me is the quality of the analog output section. That Auralic sounds pretty good! I figure if all else fails, I can take the processed digital out of the X4 and send that to the Auralic.

So my questions: Has anyone on the forum had experience with this unit? Did you use it as your preamp? If so, how did it sound?

Thanks!

Charlie
