Hey guys,
This is my first post, but I visit the site fairly often to read comments. Actually, this is my third attempt to submit a post! I'm sure I was doing something wrong...
Anyway, The T1s will be used as both the front left/right channels in a 7.1 home theater system and as part of a dedicated 2.0 channel audio system. My wife and I love movie watching and entertaining, so we'll have friends and family over when we move the new speakers in and finish rearranging the room. The HSU VTH-15 MK2 sub will move to the back of the room and handle the bulk of the LFE channel, although I do intend to use the LFE inputs on the T1s. I was thinking I should set the SPL level about -3 to -6DB down at the MLP referenced to the HSU sub output, in order to protect the T1s from abuse. Your thoughts?
As mentioned, we love home theater, but my true passion is music and 90% of why I chose the T1s was for music listening and occasionally rocking out! Love the live concert experience and hopefully, these bad boys can bring it home!!!
Thanks for reading!
Mark B.
