Hey, Wayne

Does access to YOUR great HT system with first class receiver and amps and SEVEN subs (LFE to 2 T1's, 2 T2's, 2 T3's, and a FF5  ) come along with the adoption?????

Seriously, I'm not sure your house frame or your ears could handle much more bass, References or otherwise !!!!!

Happy listening!

Sure Bro Rick, instead of going North for the summer, you could come over here!!!!
I was not feeling TOO inferior over here until you guys jumped on the Reference bandwagon and then piled on with the Oppo 205 too!!!!
I just can't keep up with the Joneses!!!!!
Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Wayne:

Absolutely, Juanita and I would be happy to have you. Because of your intolerance of the cold (me too) you could stay with us in the summer, and Rick and Judy in the winter.

I still feel GDHAL should play a part in your adoption, as well. :)
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Home Theatre Hi Fi Secrets Newsletter (review)

Essentially a rave review

hometheaterhifi.com/reviews/video-player...-disc-player-review/

Some excerpts:

The UDP-205 player revealed major differences using the XLR analog outputs. It’s not subtle...

It’s not just analog that gets an overhaul, but HDMI audio benefits from jitter reduction using a special circuit and a high-precision HDMI clock.

The bench tests for the UDP-205 are excellent.

The OPPO UDP-205 Ultra HD Blu-ray Player serves its purpose as an audiophile machine. It’s squarely aimed at those who wish for top performance from all disc and file types, and from PCM and DSD. If you’re looking for one machine to check most of your needs off the list, the UDP-205 needs to be seriously considered.

Another highly positive professional review. This one from Dennis Burger of Home Theater Review

hometheaterreview.com/oppo-digital-udp-2...ray-player-reviewed/

And I almost forgot to mention, guess what speakers he uses....

Speakers for this setup were a pair of GoldenEar Triton Ones, a pair of Triton Sevens, a SuperCenter XL, two Paradigm Studio SUB12s, and Sunfire's SRS-210R SYS SubRosa Flat Panel Subwoofer.

:)
