Ok so I'm looking to place 4 in ceiling 650 I bought but due to no attic space and my indented roof being concrete I can only put them 2 feet from front wall and 3 from rear wall n this is a 15 foot room where I will be sitting in the center ..will I still get affects

The Atmos have to go outer broder of the indintation

You don’t have choices on speaker placement, so here’s my opinion.

Moderator Dude may wish to comment and I’ll bow to his opinion, but as I see your set up options, you have chosen the right GEt speakers. With your listening position about 5.5 ft from the front ceiling speakers and 4.5 ft from the rear ceiling speakers, I would think that with gain settings in your receiver/pre you could adjust SL’s enough to have good height coverage.

Again, I’ll bow to Moderator Dude’s opinion, but I’d sure be tempted to go for it.

I guess I don’t understand the math here. If the room is 15 ft deep and the listening position is in the center, I.E. 7.5 ft from front or back walls, then if the speakers are 2 ft plus 3 ft in from those walls, then the total distance of those speakers from the listening position is 15-5 or 10 lateral ft.

Are you measuring ceiling to listening position diagonal distance?

Maybe we should wait for Moderator Dude opinion.
