The diagram with the cross-sectional view of the tweeter is very exaggerated in that the pronounced angle of the tweeter is not at all apparent in the actual object (see photo).

It's not very clear to me which side of the speaker/tweeter should be facing the listener. My guess is that the GoldenEar logo should be facing away from the listener. Is that correct?

Hi KSLoke, I would recommend pushing down on the side of the tweeter closest to the HF EQ switch. The tweeter will pivot (or push down) about 10 degrees in this direction. I would then mount the Invisa 650s in the ceiling with the GoldenEar logo furthest away from the main listening position. This should angle the tweeter (about 10 degrees) toward the main listening position. If you're looking for a bit more clarity or detail from the speakers, I'd recommend sliding the HF EQ switch to the "+" position. This will boost the tweeter output a bit.

I installed four 650s today, my first experience with these speakers, and encountered this same issue. The manual says the tweeter should be horizontal when facing the listening position, but the tweeter only tilts in two directions, and both are parallel to the tweeter lines. As a result, there’s no way to get them angled horizontally to the listener.

I called Goldenear and they said that the tweeter doesn’t need to be horizontal, so I just angled them the way the speaker would allow.

I guess the manual is just completely wrong? Frustrating for sure and I was really worried I was going to break them trying to tilt them the way the manual said.
