LIttle things like that can make a difference. It took me months of experimentation to find the "final" position for my speakers and listening position. Now that I've found it, I wouldn't move them again to save my life. :)

The brightness is also so recording dependent. The GE seem to put out whatever is put in. no coloring the sound. I'm listening to Alan Parsons P. and Blood S & T at fairly loud volume and there is no edginess .

Hi, Chuckinator

You're 100% right. The Get's play exactly what's presented to them. And if it's garbage, edgy, has digital glare, they play it all. T Cobe started a thread awhile ago, I think titled "No place to hide", describing just that.

I've changed/improved lots of gear to try to give the GEt's what they deserve. Because when it's right, well, goosebumps.

Keep at it! And enjoy the journey!

Thanks , and now the fun part. I enjoy the tweaking, be it cables or speaker positioning. That's what makes this hobby so great, besides the Music itself!

Chuckinator - you asked what amp we are using. We have the Parasound 5 channel amp and it's a nice match for the T-Ones.
